The exercises are performed consciously, with slow control and a particular breathing pattern. The complete mat method works all the muscle groups in the body with special attention to the muscles which stabilise the joints. Small classes and personal support from Angela ensure correct form and build confidence.

Approach and background.
 

From my early twenties, my hobbies were contemporary dance and yoga. When a painful back prevented me from continuing. I was introduced to Pilates and have never doubted how creating a girdle of strength (a strong core) advocated by Joseph Pilates has changed my back, my body, and my life! 

I have 20 years years teaching experience, I am a Level 3 Rep instructor, qualified to teach Post Natal and Ante Natal women and breast cancer patients.
